On Thursday 18th February, Market Rasen E2E students from took part in a volunteer day planting trees at Ramblers Church, Walesby, organised by BCTV and Walesby Gardening Group.

Despite the bitterly cold and threatening snow, the students and staff enjoyed the chance of a day out and hiked up the hill to the church which is on the Viking Way and overlooks the village below. Once there, they helped clear the existing overgrown hedge line and plant new native trees in the gaps left around the boundary of the church yard.
