Peer Education
The Peer Education project involves young parents in delivering presentations in schools about the realities of teenage parenthood. The young parents first undertake accredited training in Peer Education Skills and Making Choices and Decision Making which prepares them for the school visits.
The basic idea of “peer education” is that young people enable other young people to learn by sharing their experiences.
The Peer Education Project was developed as part of the Lincolnshire Tackling Teenage Pregnancy Strategy.
